The Internship Management System, developed within İzmir University of Economics' Management Information Systems Directorate (MISD), digitally tracks the mandatory and voluntary internships that students complete throughout their studies, bringing students and academic staff together on a single platform. "A PROCESS UNITED ON A SINGLE PLATFORM"

With the system, students can submit their internship applications digitally, while academic staff can follow the process through the same platform. Information about the companies where internships take place is also included in the system. Companies contribute to moving the process forward by digitally approving students' applications. The Internship Management System can be accessed via the "Applications" tab on myIEU.

"LONG-TERM TRACEABILITY IS ENSURED"

Because company information is also kept within the system, it becomes possible to trace not just the immediate internship process but also the long-term history of students and the companies they interned at. This allows quick access to internship records from past periods, making the process more transparent and better documented. From application to approval, and from process tracking to historical records, every step is carried out transparently through the system and can be monitored end-to-end.
