DORM INFORMATION SYSTEM
Escalating workload is an issue of today’s economic environment, causes more and more stress to employees, the kind of work that is redundant, that feels like a waste of time and is not a priority to the business, things that have a negative impact on an employee’s effectiveness. Izmir University of Economics tried to address this issue for their dormitory employees.
Under the supervision of Management Information System Directorate, student of Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Department of Software Engineering student Kutayberk Sungur developed a web based program to ease Dormitory Directorate employee’s workload and help them to focus on health, security, and wellbeing of their students. The program allows those employees to keep better track of their students individually and helps to decrease the amount of repetitive works such as registering the given notices to spend the night out, disciplinary actions, and keeping track of guests.
